Money Origami Sales
Money origami is the ultimate culmination of practical and beautiful!
Let's say you want to give your favorite nephew a $10 present for the holidays. You don't want to just hand him a $10 bill - you want to have this be a beautiful present. I can create for you a shirt made from that $10, or a duck, or a butterfly out of two $5s. I can create rings, bowties, and even roses. Match the shape to the situation!
The beauty of a money origami present is that it is can be a flat shape. That means you can enclose the shape in a regular card or letter. The present is almost like a surprise tucked in with your note. The gift can be large or small, it's all up to you.
If you give a $1 monthly tip to your newspaper delivery person, now it can be a beautiful meaningful gift instead of a random bill. If you give a $100 donation to a charity each year, this could bring a smile to the charity's faces when you hand it to them.
Money origami is perfect because it can match the situation. You can give ducks to small children. You can hand out formal shirts to the ushers at your wedding. Money origami looks beautiful on a "money tree" that you often find at birthday parties and weddings.
Money origami is definitely a must-have for when you go on a cruise. Keep a collection of money origami shapes in your purse. That creates great fun when you give them out for room service tips and to bartenders that you like. The last time I went on a cruise, the staff was competing to get their hands on my money origami and were proudly showing them off to friends and co-workers.
Money origami is by definition made with a rectangle. Therefore all "square paper shapes" CANNOT be made into money origami. I cannot make a money origami crane or a money origami lily. Here are the shapes which can be made with dollar bills, pounds, euros and so on.
You can also have me create a Money Origami Card where the money origami is the featured decoration on the card!
Note again: I *cannot* make regular "lily" or "iris" flower shapes out of money. A dollar bill is long and rectangular, while the paper used to fold a crane, iris, lily or other traditional shape is a square. I will not cut the dollar into a square :) The dollar bill stays in its native rectangular shape, without any cuts, so the money can be used by the recipient. The only flowers which can be made out of money are the rose and lotus flower.
