Today’s the one year anniversary of my college graduation party. For my entire adult life I had regretted never finishing my degree. It’s something that gnawed at me. I finally plowed headlong into it and earned my Leadership degree from Northeastern, graduating summa cum laude. I enjoyed every single class. The material I learned was amazing and immediately helpful in the projects I run. My fellow students, most management level people in the Boston area, were like a board of directors to help me with issues I faced. I loved, loved, loved that program. Thank you to everyone who supported me through those time-intensive years. Thank you to my mom for throwing the party, to everyone who came or cheered me on, and to Far From Eden for playing a fantastic live gig!
bachelor’s degree in Leadership
I have earned my bachelor’s degree in Leadership – finally!
Perseverance will get you to your goal!
College Graduation Ceremony
Just woke up. Yup, slept right through my college graduation. That was the plan :). Well, not the plan, but the expectation :).
Online Learning – Ceremony
My Northeastern college graduation tomorrow (Sat 9/20) wants me there at **7:30am** in Boston, starts at 9, lasts 1.5 hrs!! I’m barely asleep at 7:30 … you can see why I’m not attending :). OK, one of the reasons …
Northeastern Sweatshirt
Bought my 1 college apparel item, a red #Northeastern sweatshirt. I’ve watched too much Spenser; now I want to run the Charles with this on.
I’ve Graduated!
Thank goodness, my advisor confirms that the online system is incorrect, and that I am now a graduate :). Woo hoo! My diploma will eventually show up in the mail. They should let me print one out online :).
Done with College? Or not?
I received an A in my final photography class – but the online audit tool now says I have to take 4 more classes. Hmmmm. Do not panic.
Last Assignment Done
My last assignment for my last class is now officially submitted. All that’s left is to wait for the final grade, and my degree is set!
Last Week of College
I’ve submitted my panorama assignment – so I am officially down to my very last week of college, with my very last assignment – a “final project” of my own choosing. I’m thinking I might do forced perspectives – I’m enjoying these immensely :). And then I’m done! I’m graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Leadership! Woo hoo! 🙂
Digital Photography 2
I’m working on my assignment for this week’s Digital Photography 2 class, to create a montage of photographs with sound. I’m doing Vivaldi’s Spring to go with a series of spring photos. I had done something similar for winter, although for winter I had actual video.
