Blue Origami Dragon

Blue is just about a perfect color for a dragon. Blue stands for loyalty and honesty - two traits closely linked to dragons. Blue is the color of the open sky, where dragons fly and soar. Loyal friends are "true blue". Blue also is associated with spirituality. With their long lives and insightful spirits, dragons are very spiritual creatures.

In the Eragon story, Saphira, the female dragon, was a gorgeous, sapphire blue. Saphira was a loyal friend to Eragon and protected him no matter what the cost.

In the Dungeons and Dragons world, blue dragons were some of the most powerful dragons there were. They adored deserts and sandy locations. They were loyal parents to their children, and could breathe lightning.

In World of Warcraft blue dragons were highly intelligent, associated with the sea and water. They were very protective of their homes.
