Larimar
Larimar was only discovered by modern gemstone lovers in the 1970s! Its name comes from its discoverer - and is a combination of his daughter Larissa, as well as "mar" for the sea. It is sometimes called the "Atlantis" stone for its glowing blue color.

Larimar is a type of pectolite stone. It is ONLY found in the Dominican Republic.
