Map of Locations of Lisa Shea's Novels
Choosing a location for a novel is more than throwing a dart at a map and seeing where it lands. The location infuses the story with a wealth of information. If a character grew up near the Scottish border, were they raised in an atmosphere of awareness that raiders could strike at any time? If they were raised in a quiet village nestled within a valley, did they grow up feeling safe and secure? Would a childhood on a rocky coastline have them aware of the dangers of pirates and slavers? A location can be just as powerful in shaping a person's personality as family and friends can be.Here is the map of where my stories take place.
