Yu-Gi-Oh!
"Yu-Gi-Oh" is an Anime tv show, centered around a card game called "Duel Monsters". The basic premise of the game is that there's monsters, and dueling and all that.
The main character of the series is Yugi Moto, a high school student who discovers a mystic Egyptian power, called "The Millenium Puzzle". In this puzzle, lurks a spirit that is the reincarnation of a brave Pharaoh who sealed away some evil monsters back in ancient Egypt. This spirit is often summoned by Yugi to battle against enemies in the Duel Monsters games.
The other characters in the game include Yugi's friends, Joey, Tristan, and Tea (pronounced Tey-ah), Yugi's grandpa (whose soul was captured by), Maximillian Pegasus, the creator of Duel Monsters and an all-around evil guy. There's also the Kaiba brothers, Mokuba (younger) and Seto (older). Seto is the head of Kaiba Corporation, a card making company.
Yugi and his friends all go into Pegasus' tournament, all for their own reasons. Yugi wants to rescure his Grandpa, Joey wants to get money for his sister's operation (she's blind). Tristan and Tea both just want to win and to support their friend. Eventually, they must fight each other, and also Pegasus. Will they be victorius? Will Pegasus have the last laugh ? Watch and find out!
There are some bad parts about the show, however. For one thing, everybody in the show are WAY too focused on Duel Monsters. Also, the voices and animation aren't great in some spots. But overall, this is a good series to watch.
