Iams Select Bites Cat Food

First, I want to say that we feed our cats Iams pouch food every day. We really find it to be the best readily-available cat food out there. We've even done tests where we've taken the cats off of Iams and onto a high quality dry food for a while. When we did, the cats' fur got dry and brittle and the cats generally seemed listless. When we put the cats back onto the pouch food, they got a smooth, glistening coat and were much more lively. If you are currently feeding your cat dry food, I suggest you try wet food for a month, to see what a difference it makes.

Just look at the ingredient list, which is of course shown in order of % of item in the food:

chicken broth
chicken
chicken liver
wheat gluten
dried beet pulp
meat by-products
fish oil

When you compare that with many other food choices, you'll realize just what kind of junk is found in other cat foods. The top 3 items here are all real chicken.

The mixture comes out very easily in a nice, rich gravy. Everything slides quite smoothly out of the pouch, it's not "gummy" like some other mixes are. It also doesn't seem to be saturated with artificial flavors. There are little nuggets of food which are easy for the cats to eat. My cats love it and will actively avoid eating dry food in order to get to this. Highly recommended!
