Companion Gourmet Cat Food
Companion calls itself "your trusted friend" and says it is a "gourmet cat food". I've tried this in beef in gravy as well as tuna in sauce. The cats enjoyed both types. In both cases there were small juicy nuggets in a gravy. The cats liked licking up the gravy and nibbling on the 'bits'.Tuna Ingredients:
'sufficient water for processing' (huh?)
chicken
meat byproducts
tuna
wheat gluten
natural flavors
Beef Ingredients:
'sufficient water for processing'
chicken
meat byproducts
beef
wheat gluten
natural flavors
I definitely feel that cat foods should have ample water in them - but it seems really odd to me that they had to add a ton of water to make it the #1 ingredient. Also, for items calling themselves "tuna" and "beef" - there is a lot of chicken and meat byproducts before you get to the actual food item.
