Na Pali Coastline - Pride of America

I showered and put on my black roses dress, which I had meant to wear to the first Cruise Critics meeting but couldn't as the bag had been lost. By 5pm I was back up that the same lounge we met at the first time, and once again they had complementary sparkling wine, drinks and snacks. I made flowers and other origami shapes for everyone, and gave away some more of my Weddings & Courtships books.

Bob showed up about halfway through and said it was POURING out. The ship honked its horn when it was time to turn around, and I went out to the window then to look out. The coastline was indeed really pretty, with waterfalls tumbling down, but it was VERY rainy out. So we weren't missing much by having our event at this time :)

Finally it was 7, and time to head out. We went back to the room so Bob could change, and then we went up to the Napa Valley bar to wait for 8:30 for our dinner reservations. We were down to our last bottle of wine - a Shiraz - but also still had perhaps half of a bottle of port back down in our room. We were joined at our bar table for a while by a nice couple from Oahu who worked with an elderhostel group. They'd been having a lot of seminars and such during the trip, which sounded like fun!

Soon it was time for our reservation. Alex and Angel - our waiters - came out to the bar area calling our name, then lit up with big smiles when they realized it was us again. They brought us to a window seat, and brought bread and such. The window seat actually looks out over the deck that people walk on, underneath the lifeboats, so it's not really like you are "looking out over the sea" here. Still, it's nice to have a window :)

I had the filet mignon again, this time with bernaise sauce. It was delicious as always. The wait staff and restaurant manager spent a lot of time hanging out and talking with us, and I gave out fish, flowers and other items to everybody. Two of our Cruise Critics members were two tables down, and as we could barely finish our Shiraz (after having been drinking free drinks at the Cruise critics meeting) we sent them over a glass of Shiraz to have with their meal, which they liked.

I had the chocolate dessert again, which was tasty as always, and we had leftover filet to bring back to the room with us. Soon we were heading back upstairs, and spent quite a while packing up. By midnight we had our main bags outside the door, and were working on the smaller bags to get those ready. We had been given a final bill - but it wasn't for us :) So we delivered that one to the right room and Bob got the real bill. He also dropped off the coupon for buy-five-get-one-free for our last dinner.
