Lion King Show - Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World
After the Pagani trail, Melissa really wanted to go see the Lion King show. Jill and Michelle decided to hang out in Africa while Jeanne and I went along with Melissa to the show. We arrived just as they were seating everyone and got seats in the "Elephant" section. Each section is an animal, and makes the appropriate noises. The show involves a lot of audience participation, with us singing, clapping and having fun.The show is mostly about acrobatics and song. You watch "monkeys" do trampoline acts, "birds" fly on the high wire, and all sorts of other animals do a lot of dancing. There are fire baton twirlers and flag wavers.
This is really great for kids, and also really great to rest for a while in a cool, shaded environment.
