Winter Haiku
James, a blue, soft warmth, curls up close in my caress:
peaceful, sleepy child.
Bright sunlight streaming
whitely through cotton curtains:
Siamese stretches.
Tender, green shoots push
gently against the damp soil,
basking in the warmth.
