My Nutrition Tab - Biggest Loser SlimCoach

In my opinion, one of the most useful aspects of the Biggest Loser SlimCoach system is their My Nutrition tab. This tab lets you easily track and view all your food intake per day and see trends.

When you first get started, you can customize your targets any way you want. So you can set it up for low carb, low fat, low sodium, whatever it is you're interested in.

Once that is set up, you start telling it what you're going to eat. The system has a large volume of items already entered into it - so for most of what you eat all you do is search for it, click on it, and add it in. Plus, once you do that a few times, your "favorites" area is tracking those things. So then it's even easier to add one of your normal food items to the menu again.

For example, I have an EAS chocolate protein shake every morning for breakfast. So the very first time I had to do a search to find that. After that, I easily added it into my lists just by choosing it from my favorites.

The system lets you add recipes in as well. So if I have a favorite tomato mozzarella basil salad that I eat a lot, I set up the recipe -again with simple clicks and selections. Once done, I can pop that onto any daily menu and instantly see its nutrition.

So this is a great tracker for your daily intake. You select an item, it knows all the carb and other values, and it totals everything up for you.

So this part of the system is one I like a lot. It's fairly easy to use.

The one down side is that it shows items in red if they are below your daily recommended levels - but this could be GOOD if for example you want to stay below 20g of carbs. There should be a way for you to tell it what numbers are good and what aren't good.
