Tokyo Restaurant
Nashua, NH
We often go to Nashua for their tax-free shopping and interesting mall area. There are all sorts of shops in this area that are great for roaming in.
The Tokyo Restaurant looks like a strip mall dive and is often half empty. But for what it's worth, we were pleasantly surprised by the food each time we've been there!
While their standard is onion soup, they do actually have miso soup as well, which is tasty. The sushi is a bit thin, but is also long and very tender. The cuts are quite reasonable.
The salad was more towards a ranch dressing than a ginger, but good. The table cooking is fun but not as fancy as you'd find at other restaurants. The meat was cooked very well, if a bit overdone. We had to stop the chef from totally broiling my fish dinner one night.
All in all, not a bad Japanese experience for New Hampshire!
Address
