Origami Airplanes that Fly Book Review

Gery Hsu has written a book solely about using origami to create paper airplanes. Just about everyone has made those in school!

The book is VERY simple, without even a table of contents. There is just a black and white photo of each shape, plus line drawings to show you how to make it. The collection includes various fighter and jet planes plus a space shuttle.

If you've got a child that isn't really into crafting, but enjoys making paper airplanes, this might be the PERFECT way to get them into a new hobby. They already know how airplanes work, so now they are making COOL airplanes in all sorts of colors and shapes.

These are also great to make when you're out in public. Normal origami just sits there ... but fold up a few planes, and the fun can begin!
