TEAC V50 Cassette Tape Player
The TEAC V50 Cassette Tape Player is a lovely stereo cassette deck. It has buttons to move between normal, chrome, and metal tapes. It also has a dolby switch. It can take input from the built-in microphone, the line in, or the microphone inputs. It has both a headphone jack and a pair of hard-wired red-white cables.When I plug this player into the wall the light behind the cassette tape area lights up. So it does get power. However, the motor never engages the gears when I press the play, fast forward, reverse, or other buttons. It's not just that there is a less-than-tight rubber belt which isn't connecting properly. When I open it up, I don't see anything at all moving when I press the buttons. So I think something might be wrong with the motor part.
