Ruby Tuesday Restaurant Review - Worcester MA

The Ruby Tuesday in Worcester is located in the Lincoln Square plaza. We will quite frequently go shopping in this plaza and then go to Ruby Tuesday for dinner. Ruby Tuesday, with its great salad bar and good menu, is definitely a key part of the draw.

We've been coming here for years and have been routinely happy with the food and service. In fact, a waiter that we tend to usually get is so great that we tell him he should be working at the Sole or the 111 Chophouse instead. He is that attentive and good.

The salad bar is great. It's generally well stocked and kept clean. We've pointed out to them over the years when they lose things we love on it - for example they used to have cottage cheese and now they don't any more. That appears to be a chain-wide decision, though. So yes the salad bar has altered over the years that we've gone there, and sometimes we don't agree with the changes. Still, it has a wealth of tasty items on it.

Similarly, the menu has changed over the years that we've been coming here. I used to always get a rack-and-a-half of ribs, with the salad bar. This would give me lots of leftovers to take home. I'd get a bottle of red wine and take half of that home as well. They have since changed the menu so you can't get a rack-and-a-half any more. So now I get a rack of ribs. I absolutely adore the ribs. My boyfriend tends to get the mini burgers or random other items.

When we came in for his birthday one time they gave us a cupcake, and it was absolutely delicious. I normally avoid desserts so this was a special treat. Definitely give it a try if you're a cupcake fan.

I can't think of any problems we've had in all the times we've come here. Yes, one time we came just before they closed and they'd run out of ribs. Another time there was some delivery problem and they didn't have any grapes on the salad bar. But those are minor incidents out of years and years of coming here. And each time the staff has been very apologetic and explained fully what had happened.

Well recommended. This is the one place in the Worcester area that we keep coming back to as our go-to restaurant.
