Allore Restaurant Review

Allore in Marlboro used to be (under previous ownership and with a different name) a location that our monthly group met at very often. The location off of 495 was perfect, and the casual extensive menu fit a number of taste buds. When it changed hands to become Allore - a more high class Italian restaurant - we decided to give it a try.

The decor is certainly different. Now it's dark wood, stained glass, huge lamps and of course Italian music. We found the service to be OK, the food to be OK ... but given the higher prices, nothing was quiet up to snuff. We had to send one dish back for being improperly cooked. Also, there were little flies all about.

This fell off our list of restaruants to visit.
