Trigun 22 - Alternative
Millie and Meryl sleep while Vash and Wolfwood talk by a campfire. Vash is upset that so many died. Vash remembers Jessica forgiving him but still feels badly. Vash says he has to 'face him'.
The four of them drive around the desert and come across a fort. The inhabitants won't let them in. They return to their car to find a kid rummaging through their car. They follow the kid to a run down house where the kids through things at them - including a cat!
It's an orphan house and Wolfwood gives the orphans the food. The orphans complain that they aren't allowed in town. Apparently eveerybody in towns nearby turned into zombies and just walked out of town. Only the kids remained.
They all have a happy dinner together. Vash is sad about what lies ahead but Wolfwood just wants a drink. In the town, one of the guards opens the main door and lets in mid-valley the horn freak.
A blazing gun attack is launched on the orphan house. Vash goes out to reason with them, along with Wolfwood. The townsfolk beat up Vash and Wolfwood but giant sandworms show up. The orphans, women and townsfolk run back to town while Vash and Wolfwood take on the worms. Wolfwood wants to kill the worms but Vash won't let them.
Millie goes after a kid with Wolfwood and a worm attacks. Vash realizes that the kid was controlling the worms with a high frequency device. The kid is actually a gung-ho gun, the fourth - Zazi the Beast. Zazi hates beasts. Vash tries to reason with the kid within Zazi, but Wolfwood shoots Zazi to save Vash. Vash insists that Zazi wouldn't have killed him. Wolfwood hits Vash and Vash lectures Wolfwood about finding a place with no thievery, no wars, only peace and love.
Wolfwood walks off, and you see a guy eating a green apple.
