Trigun 14 - Little Arcadia
Meryl and Millie talk about writing home in the town of Promontory, and hear gunshots outside. They run outside and knock Vash over before he gets into a gunfight to protect the town. An old couple asks the two women to be their bodyguard. Vash comes along too. They go out to a beautiful oasis that the couple has raised for 20 years.
The son comes over to convince his parents to sell the land. He's part of the bad guys. In the meantime, Morgan is talking to the henchmen from Hard Puncher and now also have siblings from Hard Puncher too. Soon a giant cannonball-person is launched at the house by the big mamma and in comes the assault. The two old couple prepare to defend their oasis with their lives.
Millie leaps in to defend the house too. Then Meryl comes in too and says that people should always step in when kids are taking advantage of their parents. The son runs off with a piece of paper that he says is a deed, and the giant mom flings a cannonball after him. Meryl tries to shoot the cannonball down - but Vash shoots down the cannonball and lets Meryl believe she did it. Vash says to himself that he's paid her back for her help on the sandsteamer.
Off goes the son to the city hall and drops off the paper. He learns that he's the beneficiary. In the meantime Meryl stays up all night writing home to her family, and the cat is sitting on top of the post office when the letters are mailed.
