Lord of the Rings - Aragorn
The animated feature Lord of the Rings from 1978 created its own take on Tolkein's creatures and world. Here are images of Aragorn.
I don't mind Aragorn being non-handsome. The whole point is that he is supposed to be "stellar good on the inside, foul looking on the outside". The book makes that clear. However, Aragorn looks *goofy* in this. He's not 'hardened and rough'. He's round and strange.
This is the very well described 'first look at Aragorn' from the book, just sitting in a corner, watching Frodo.
Here's Aragorn in the hobbit bedroom, explaining the difficult road ahead. He seems more like a farmer-uncle than a lean, mean ranger.
