Final Fantasy Unlimited Episode 22 - Moogle
We begin on a gentle river surrounded by a quiet town. The sub is being scrubbed down, and Knave says the area feels like home. He gives the crew 2 hours of relax time. The town seems empty and has a smell that interests the crew. Each person thinks the smell is their own favorite. Both Lisa and Knave start acting as if they are back in their homes. Miles sits in a field of flowers. Ai asks the pocket for a cure - he's asleep. THey head back to find Cid, and he's playing with toys.
Finally they find a moogle watching TV. He says he's a "harmless, charming mascot." His last name is Kupo. The moogle knows Kaze. He says the others were trapped in memory lane. If they stay too long, they will vanish. It's the tower that is doing it. They head up to the tower, and the Moogle recognizes Kaze. They have simiar markings. Kaze doesn't recognize the Moogle, though.
The tower talks about Nostarudamus. Another blast happens and Yu is lost. Kaze starts up his magun - but turns it off again. Moogle says he can fix the gun. Kaze is lost back in memorys of him and "Aura". She has dark braids in this memory. The moogle realizes the other 3 are now lost too. The moogle tells Kaze to use Aura's soil. Soon Ixion is out to face the tower.
It looks like the Ixion is better - maybe because of Moogle's assistance with the magun. The tower is destroyed and everyone returns to the sub. The moogle joins the sub's crew.
