Final Fantasy Unlimited Episode 19 - Ai
The sub's crew ends up in a new, dark ocean. Ai harasses Yu, complaining that she cooked and took care of him. They see a floating Ai head outside the window and panic. Soon Ai is curious and returns, though. The head mimics what she does. Yu finds this hilarious. Ai gets very upset by the head, they fight, and she somehow falls on the "open window" switch and "falls out" of the sub into the ocean. Ummmmmmmm ....
Ai falls through water and air to land on the ground. She can see the ocean up above, like a rippling blue sky. In the meantime, Pist calls out to his Omega Recovery Team to keep searching for pieces. Cid tells the others about the ocean / sky situation. Choco-bird says he can fly down there. Ai pulls out her pocket and asks for help. She gets 3 chocolate bars instead. Soon she's deluged with fresh fruit. A blue boy laughs at that.
He's wearing a blue outfit and doesn't want her to touch him. A giant red anenome attacks them both, along with a giant bug. The Poshepocket tries to help, and she asks for a weapon. Instead he kicks out a banana peel. She drops it as she runs, and the giant bug slips. She touches the blue boy as she runs and suddenly the pair are flying.
The blue boy says that the enemies came for him - that he's looking for his brothers. He says his name is Clear. He worries that he could have broken her by touching her - to protect the world, he wears an outfit made of flying water. He says he is Omega.
Cut to the Earl looking at the trick menu. Pist says he's found part of Omega, but that it escaped. Oscha realizes this means it was not a crystal. Earl asks if it was Clear and is thrilled to learn that it was.
Ai says that Clear is pretty nice. She asks if the monsters were his brothers, but he doesn't answer. In the meantime the choco-riders are looking for her. Yu regrets fighting with Ai on the sub. Kaze finds the banana peal. Clear tells Ai about how he and his brothers were originally all one piece - and that those who are awake are nwo seeking their brothers to retain their original shape. She asks why he breaks things - but he says it's the nature of his existence. She suggests that his brothers can wear clothes like he does. Clear says that he is jealous, because Ai and her brother don't break things and aren't disliked.
Ai explains that they are looking for water and asks for his help to go to Telos. She offers her hand, and he takes it. Kaze shows up and aims a gun at Clear. Ai defends Clear, and suddenly the giant bug is attacking. The pocket is sleeping and not much help. Clear tries to rescue Ai but his glove slips off, and she falls. Clear uses his bared hand to nuke the monsters. He disintegrated the entire cube.
Ai wakes up safe and sound in the sub. She holds the glove sadly.
