Final Fantasy Unlimited Episode 4 - Makenshi - The White Etude
In The White Etude, the fourth episode of Final Fantasy Unlimited, you learn more about Kaze and his enemy, Makenshi.
Lisa, Yu and Ai continue to wander around the despair-filled world after having missed the subway train out. The thief pops out and Ai grabs him. He says that he ate her backpack, fried it up, yummmm. The thief takes them down to the underground, where the forces of "order" are staging a defense against chaos.
The main soldier has a scientist helper named Cid who studies Kaze's guns. He is very impressed by them. He looks at the chocobo and recognizes the item on its neck as a watch he made long ago for someone. He says the watch has been greatly updated since then. He also cures the chocobo with a healing device.
Ai gets a new outfit, too and is proud of it. The soldier asks Lisa to join him but Lisa insists she wants to stay with the kids and help them find their parents. Suddenly there's an earthquake.
It turns out that Kaze and Makenshi are new forms of the 2 dragons that fought in the "real world" 12 years ago. Makenshi now works for the Tyrant, and Kaze came here to seek him out. Lisa worries about the innocent people being hurt and Kaze says it doesn't matter, all that matters is defeating Makenshi. When the 2 fight, Makenshi summons a giant dragon which defeats Kaze.
