Giran - Dragonball Character
Giran is a dinosaur-like creature that shows up during the 21st Tenkaichi Budoukai tournament.
Giran fights Goku, and binds Goku up with spit. Goku eventually is able to overcome Giran and move on in the tournament.
Later, Giran has dammed up a river to make a pool, which starves a village downstream. Giran tells Goku he can only restore the flow if he's able to break the dam. Goku does, and the village is saved.
