The Animatrix - Beyond
This story begins with classic-style crisp animation of a Japanese city with clips of busy streets, a computer screen and a computer-filled office area. Cut to a teenage girl who is chatting in a short shirt and underwear. Her cat is missing and she panics.
She heads out to find her cat. A group of kids claim she's at the 'haunted house' - which also shows up on the computer screens. The computer screen flashes "Error" and shows it in red.
The girl goes into the house and sees strange things - a dog changing color, a light bulb that appears and disappears. She finds a spot in a sunny area which is spontaneously raining. She keeps calling for her cat, Yuki. She finds the cat and the other kids play games with the gravity, jumping out the window and stopping just before they hit the ground.
While they play, a big red truck gets closer and closer. The birds all flee, then the rats flee. The girl chases Yuki, who has run off again, while the red truck bashes into the gate. The girl and yuki go through a red door which leads into nothingness, but the red truck soldiers drag them out.
A computer screen announces "Area Reconfigured" and now it's a fenced off parking lot. The kids are sad to discover their fun skills of before are gone.
