San Diego California Travelogue
Each year the BellaOnline editors vote on a location to get together, enjoy the scenery, explore the restaurants, and learn about income building, traffic, and many other topics. In 2011 the editors voted to meet in beautiful San Diego, California! We were there from July 13-19, 2011.
We stayed at the gorgeous Best Western Island Palms hotel on Shelter Island. The hotel was amazing. There are two pools and two hot tubs. The hotel is on a narrow strip of land with the bay on one side and the marina on the other, so you get the best of both worlds!
There are lovely walking trails, free bikes to ride, a great restaurant on site, several others within walking distance, and the staff is quite friendly.
