Parakeet Eye Care

Keets should never have any gunk, blood, or ooze near their eyes. If you ever see anything odd about your keet's eyes, contact a vet immediately. If for example there is a speck of dirt in your keet's eye, it can be cheap and easy to remove at first. If you just let it fester, the eye can get infected, and now you're talking about the entire eye needing surgery or the keet going blind.
