Kaytee Fiesta Seed

I actually am pretty fond of this seed blend. It's far better than the typical basic seed blend that contains only one type of seed. This does start with canary grass seed, white millet, red millet, small yellow millet, oat groats and wheat, but goes on to have all sorts of other things - sesame seeds, peanuts, rice, carrots, papaya, cononut, spinach and much more. Your keet gets a nice blend of food items to form their "base" meal. You should of course supplement this with a variety of fresh foods, but this is a far better starting point than most other seeds on the market.

I do have a complaint that the bag is not easy to re-seal. It does have a zip-lock in it but I don't find it easy to use. That being said, I always like to keep my seed in tupperware to make sure no bugs get into it, and so it stays fresh. Keets are very sensitive about fresh food! So it really doesn't matter in that sense what the original bag looked like. I highly recommend you get some sort of easy to use tupperware container for your keet foods, to keep them nice and fresh once the bag is opened.
