Millennium Hotel Lobby Photos
These photos are from the lobby of the Millennium Hotel in Anchorage, Alaska. This hotel is famous for its stuffed animals - such as polar bear, salmon, elk and more.

The above image shows one wall of the lobby, with the stained glass doors leading into the bar area. There are many animals' heads mounted on the walls. You can see a wolf in the middle.

Here is a massively large polar bear - I believe it's over 10 feet long. The plate next to the display explains where and when the bear was shot.

This sculpture of an eagle catching a fish is central to the main lobby area, as you come in through the revolving doors.

To the right of the entry area are the two elevators. A gigantic globe is stationed before those elevators, so that you can see how gigantic Alaska is and where it is in relation to other locations.
In general the lobby has the feel of a hunting lodge, with a few comfortable chairs tucked off to one corner, and the doorways to both the bar and the restaurant on two sides.
