Da Vinci Code Trip - London, Paris, Scotland
I woke up bright and early Saturday morning and walked into the center of town to look for power converters and a phone cable. There was a market just being set up, with fresh flowers and everything. It was quite lovely.

I did indeed find a phone cable converter in one shop, and 2 power converters in another shop. I headed back to the hotel.

Soon Peter and Joan showed up, and we headed off bright and early to travel to some of the ancient sites of England. We began with a delightful 1 1/2 hour drive through the countryside, green and bright, down to Stonehenge. I saw deer, hawks and many other birds. We got there before noon, and while there were cars there, it wasn't packed.

The office provides portable audio players that you carry with you. The audio talk was very nicely done, with music and everything that tells you the story of Stonehenge as you walk around it. It plays bit by bit - you push buttons when you reach numbered markers. Because the player plays right into your ear, and everybody is listening to these and not talking, you can choose to turn off your player and just stand and look at the stones in pretty much a nice silence. I was really pleased.
