Florida Everglades Travelogue:

We woke up bright and early, with the sun streaming in our window. We looked out and marvelled at the great boats there. The motel is two stories right on the docks of the marina, facing the harbor. Our room was in the middle of the motel, on the second floor, with a fridge and microwave. Quite nice. A 55' boat was moored up against our room - what a beauty! This is a view looking out and left from the window - the restaurant and bar is over to the right.

While Bob showered, I wandered down the docks to the left, to the end where a small bar was set up. There were lots of pelicans and comerants here, hanging out watching for fish. I got a number of photos of them. Here are some of my favorites.

Once we finished enjoying the marina sights, we headed back to Key Largo, to visit one of our favorite places. On to the Wild Bird Refuge!
