Northern Europe Trip 2003
UK, France, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands
TUESDAY - Walking in Canterbury
I woke up bright and early and hopped in the bathtub first. I actually liked taking a bath quite a lot - it filled up quickly and was nice and warm!! Soon I was waking up everybody else and getting them going. I went down to ask when breakfast was served until, and was told "half nine". I had to ask if that meant 9:30 and he said yes. Jenn still hadn't bathed by then but we went down anyway. Breakfast was included and was quite good - freshly made eggs, bacon (thick ham actually), sausage, plus cereal, juice, tea, coffee, etc. The egg yolks here were a normal yellow color :)
Soon we had our stuff all packed in our car - I got a picture here of our car and a few cool birds nearby.

A Pair of Moorhens
Then we walked down the little streets past a church and then walked down the main street towards the cathedral.

We were told - doesn't it figure - that there was a mass about to start so we couldn't go into the central area of the cathedral. We could wander around the rest and then return at 12:00 when things were over to see the most inner part. We began to wander!
