First, to be clear, this unit is NOT a shaver. It is also not a beard trimmer. What it is meant to do is to create a rough stubble look. It is going to leave stubble, and that is fine. You can set how long or short that stubble is going to be.
It's fairly impressive how much money they are charging for a stubble-creator - and how the unit is not up to that standard. It's a fairly flimsy unit.
If you have a full beard that you want to take down to stubble, then it works reasonably well. But let's say you have a goatee or other facial hair, and you want the rest to be stubble. It can't handle that. It's not good with edges. So it's an all or nothing proposition. Everything on your face has to be that one same length.
The hair collection unit is just done with gravity. So it doesn't work very well. If you're working from a fuller beard, they won't go in at all.
The unit doesn't seem to hold a charge very well. If you're using it daily and charging it daily it should be OK. But if you go several days between charges it seems to drain fairly quickly. And then you have to wait to charge it back up again.
If it was a lower price we might give it more stars. But at the price they're listing this for, it's hard to give this more than three stars. There are so many other units out there at this price that both handle this set of tasks plus handle edging and multiple trim settings and are more sturdy.
