Man Groomer

We have tested many groomer / trimmer devices over the years. Certainly having any product is better than having no product at all. It's definitely worth it to own something along the lines of what this does. However, compared with the many other options out there on the market, I would not choose this as my first choice.

The construction is a bit flimsy. There are three main heads which go onto the unit. There's the straight cylinder for use in ears and nose, the graduated eyebrow brush, and then the sideburn / mustache trimmer.

On the ear / nose one, the shape is just like the end of a pencil, which means it's not great for getting into nooks and crannies. Most other ear / nose trimmers we own have a much better shape in order to do that job properly.

For the eyebrow trimmer, there is one length and that is it. Different people have different desires in this area. Some want to be well trimmed while others enjoy a more bushy look. Most eyebrow trimmers have at least two options as a result. Not here.

The "precision trimmer" is supposedly for making neat lines along your hair's back or sideburns or such. However, because of the ergonomics of the unit it's quite challenging to do this precisely. You could do far better with a sharp pair of scissors.

Again, I certainly appreciate the need for a product like this. It's an important part of a grooming kit. But this particular unit doesn't stand up to the many other options out there, which in many cases you could get for less money. I'd evaluate the other options before making a purchase.
