V05 Tea Therapy Nourishing Conditioner

This VO5 Tea Therapy conditioner talks about having calming chamomile tea in it. I do drink chamomile tea in the evening and find the scent very soothing. I am all for a conditioner that has a soothing aroma. But does the tea in it actually help with your hair?

V05 Tea Therapy Nourishing Conditioner Much like the matching green tea shampoo, this conditioner is primarily about really cleaning your hair well. Which I praise!! Unlike many other shampoos and conditioners which leave your hair feeling matted and thick with gunk, these leave your hair feeling really clean. This is perfect for those hot days when you just want your hair to be clean, to get all the sweat off of it. It's perfect for those hot evenings when your pores are wide open and any speck of dirt is going to get into them and make your complexion awful. The conditioner gets your hair very clean, but also gives it a gentle coating of natural style oils so that your hair is soft and gentle.

The conditioner is a little thin, but again, this is great for its use. This isn't a special night out conditioner when you want your hair to stand up to multiple hours of dancing. It's for daily use, to get your hair as clean as possible - but still to stay soft and healthy - so that when you sleep for 8 hours your face also remains clean and unblemished.

They claim this "keeps color treated hair looking great". My only thought here is that it's nice and gentle so it doesn't strip off color. Also, tea is a natural dying agent - anyone who's spilled tea on a white blouse knows that :) So unless you are dying your hair bright blonde, I'm sure using this conditioner helps to keep grey hairs at least more muted.

Well recommended!
