Mandarin Olive Oil Organix Conditioner

My first comment about this conditioner is the "cute" container. Conditioners are generally on the thick side and to use the final part of the product you need to sit the container upside down to get all the final conditioner out. This is impossible with this curved design. Maybe they figure people "rich" enough to care about organic products don't care about wasting 1/10th of every bottle they buy, but I don't fall into that category. I like to use all of the bottle when I buy a bottle, and having a rolly bottle like this bothers me.
At 13.8oz this is not inexpensive compared with other conditioners. I am willing to pay more if a product provides superior quality. But this conditioner just doesn't "rise above". My hair felt *slightly* conditioned, but not nearly as well as some of the many other products I've tested over the years. It was slightly less tangled compared with conditioner-free hair, so it is doing something, but it's not nearly as good at detangling as other conditioners are.
They say that you can "indulge your senses" with the "exotic blend" - but the aroma is actually extremely faint. Generally this is fine for me, I'm not a big fan of hair perfume. However, if they are going to push the exotic orange aroma as a key selling point, I'd like to be able to smell it.
It always makes me cautious when they have typos on the label. It shows a lack of attention to detail, and when I'm buying a chemically based product I want a sense that the company is on the ball in all areas. They have the description of the product as "It's seductive invigorating scent ..." - that should be "Its". Minor? Maybe. Maybe a minor change in their recipe would make the product more useful, too. If I'm going to start discussing their blurb then I also have to take issue with the "weightless silicones" they have in here. It's interesting that they can defy physics.
Finally, the olive oil and mandarin extract are far down on the ingredient list. So this isn't an olive oil conditioner as much as it's a cetyl alcohol conditioner with a hint of olive oil.
A nice idea - but not one I'll be buying again.
