1 1/2 cup water
Loukoumades - an Olympic Treat
4 tsp yeast
2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
Mix yeast in warm water. Now mix flour and salt. Pour in yeast-water and mix until blended. Cover with a towel for 2 hours.
Ready a deep fryer. Add 1/4 cup of batter in either a ball or donut shape. Cook for 3-5 minutes until golden brown. Remove and drain. Sprinkle with your choice of honey, cinnamon, and/or sesame seeds.
