Electricity and Telephone in Germany
So you're heading to German or other northwestern European countries. How do you need to prepare for electricity or telephone systems?The telephone systems in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and France are all pretty simple. For electrical power, German, France, Blegium, and the Netherlands all use 230/50 power supply. You can get an adaptor for that below. Luxembourg uses 220/50 which also works with the same adaptor. England uses a 220/50 which is a separate style from Luxembourg.
So if you're heading to Germany and neighboring northwest countries, be sure to have both the telephone and the electrical system adaptors on hand. That will make sure that, no matter where your wanderings take you, you can plug in all of your appliances, laptops and phones!
