This seemed like a very long and intricate dream while I was in it. It started in an apartment with wood floors. I'm upset because there are acid holes - bizarre amoeba shapes - in the floors; Bob won't listen to me. Various 'wedgerats' (friends from college) help me cut out wood shapes to fit into the holes and seal them up.
We go out to the pool to clean it (big rectangular in ground one), skimming off leaves and adding more water. [probably because my pool at the house I'm selling needs tons of maintenance]
We then go to Bob's house which is on a forested mountain; it has a huge pool/lake in front of it. I clean it, too, and he adds chlorine to it. We swim to the dock on the other side which has a path leading from it up the hill to the house. As we climb on the dock, some family arrives at the other end of the pond and asks to stay on the 'island'. I call him an idiot (because the hill isn't an island) and Jenn and I head up to the house while Bob tells him to go away.
We wander into the woods instead and find a 'buried' house with amazing furniture in it. Some of the walls and roofs are made of really strong plexiglass so we can see in but know we can't get in. We find an 'open' room, open on two sides to the forest, and it's all musty in there.
We decide to find Bob but now Linda and Chris are with us (as kids) and we lose Chris; we think Linda's with Bob but we find her 'absorbed' by the evil spirits of this buried house.
I get scared, so Jenn and I hunt down the old owner of the house. He's in a mental hospital, says there are evil spirits there. He takes us to a funhouse with long tunnels which scare me more.
Shift - I'm a spy, disguised as a nanny in a house with four kids. I put an object on teh wall to record calls. The little girl asks 'what's that', but I'm not too worried about being found out. I then go to a house with mom and Jenn. Mom was looking at a newspaper, at the 'Interest' section. I wanted a different section of the paper. Mom said she needed a new house of her own, that she was going to have to sell her current one somehow for 2 million. I said that Bob's was only 290 and in a great neighborhood.
She drove Jenn + me somewhere; I stopped writing at this point. I think back to the house.
