Strawberry Pie Recipe
This strawberry pie recipe requires no baking, and is quick and easy! Perfect for a delicious dessert with little hassle.
1 1/4 cup water
1 cup sugar
3 Tbsp cornstarch
3 Tbsp water
4 drops red food coloring
1 qt strawberries
dash salt
1 9-inch unbaked pie shell
cool whip
Mix the water and sugar in a pot. Boil until the mixture is clear. Separately, blend the cornstarch and water together, then mix into the pot on the stove. Bring back to a boil and cook until thick. Mix in food coloring until red.
Cool the liquid. Mix in the salt and strawberries, then pour blend into the pie shell. Cool in the fridge for 1-2 hours, then serve topped with cool whip.
