St Joseph's Day Cream Puff Recipe
This classic dessert is featured at St. Joseph's Day celebrations, and is pretty easy to make. Celebrate the carpenter who raised Jesus with love.
2 cups water
1 stick butter
3 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
6 large eggs
Mix water and butter on stove until melted. Sift in flour, then mix in soda and salt. Then blend in eggs.
Grease a cookie sheet and dollop dough onto it. Bake for 20 minutes at 425F. Let puffs cool. Using pastry bag, inject them with jam and sprinkle confectioner's sugar on top. Enjoy!
