Mexican Wedding Cookies Recipe



Mexican Wedding Cookies are sugar cookies with pecans, almonds and anise. They're perfect for any time of year!

1/2 c almonds
1/2 c pecans
2 sticks butter
1/4 c powdered sugar
1 Tbsp vanilla
2 c flour
1 tsp anise seeds
powdered sugar for rolling

Grind up the almonds and pecans, then blend in butter. Mix in powdered sugar and vanilla, then mix in flour and anise seeds. Roll into balls around 1" in diameter. Cook on ungreased sheet at 325F for 20 minutes.

Cool for about 15 minutes, then roll in powdered sugar to coat.
