It is always important for people to drink 8-10 glasses of water a day to maintain health and maintain a good weight (or lose weight). It is even more important for a couple trying to conceive.

Water is critical because 75% of your body is made up of water. Your body uses water constantly to do its normal functions. If you don't give your body sufficient water it starts to hoard it - causing bloating. Interestingly, the way to STOP bloating is to drink more water, so your body doesn't think it has to keep the water it has.

Drinking water will help flush wastes, keep your body running smoothly and provide proper fluids for conception to occur. So be sure you drink ample water if you wish to get pregnant!
