1972 Christmas Stamp - 8 Cent Santa
This stamp has a green edge around it. The top says Twas the Night before Christmas in white. The bottom says U.S. Postage 8c in white. In the center is Santa holding a bag of toys in his left hand, and holding up a trumpet in his right hand. He has a red suit on and a full white beard.This is the Scott Catalogue #1472 Stamp. It was released on November 9, 1972.
This stamp is reasonably common, and a used stamp is worth about ?? cents.
