BBC Series Robin Hood

Here's an intriguing one - it talks about Jews in England in the middle ages. Guy is still in control, and a Jewish man and his daughter are trying to see the "real Sheriff". Robin and his band are lurking on the road, trying to ambush the Sheriff.

There's a bit of discussion about how Will wants to be leader, and Robin doesn't like his authority questioned. Of course, Will's group is the one that finds the Sheriff and he decides to take them on himself. When the plan fails and Will is acting cocky, Robin snaps, "Don't you ever turn away when I speak to you."

Soon we have Robin trying to give up his power - and the Jews trying to protect their "holy book" while a lynch mob comes down on them. Luckily, Guy has fallen in love with the Jew's daughter and plans on running off with her. She isn't very keen on him. Will even robs them! But soon Robin rescues the girl ... only to have the Sheriff capture everyone.

Of course, we go into a bizarre Raiders of the Lost Ark moment that destroys the episodes for me :)
