Rosings is praised many times in the story as one of the best furnished mansions in the world. It is of course the home of the illustrious Lady Catharine DeBurgh. Mr. Collins bosts many times about the size of the rooms and the value of the mantlepieces. When Lady Catharine invites Lizzie to practice piano there, she says that Lizzie won't bother anyone off in the servant's wing.
