Garden Salsa Pepper Growing Information and Photos
We got our garden salsa pepper plant from Bonnie Plants. The garden salsa is a custom created hybrid variety of pepper, apparently first marketed in 1993. I can't seem to find what it came from :). The peppers can be eaten green or red. Garden salsa peppers are considered medium hot. They grow to about six inches long, and are fairly skinny. These photos below are from January 2013. The plant is at least two years old at this point, but we don't remember exactly when we got it.

To go back a bit in time, here are some photos of this same plant on July 21, 2011. In July the plant was on our back porch, soaking in the sun. You can see the long, slightly curved shape here.

We have friends who love getting our fresh peppers! I mostly think they are quite pretty to look at :).
