Chamomile Photos and Information
Chamomile, or Matricaria recutita is well known for making a soothing herbal tea. To make chamomile tea, you pop off the entire heads (the petals and yellow center) and dry those out. Then put them into a tea ball and use as you would leaf tea. This chamomile plant was grown from seed. In the first year it did NOT flower. It only flowered starting in the second year.

These next photos were taken in August 2008, to show how the chamomile (in the rectancular container) compares with other nearby plants.

These photos are all courtesy of Mensa Gardening SIG members. These Chamomile plants grow in Massachusetts.
