Finishing the Trials
OK, on to the treasure. Using the map directions, work your way through the forest. Be sure to grab the yellow plants the prisoner told you about when you see them. When you get to the X dig there with your shovel, and grab a tshirt. Fight a bit, and then go back and tell the store guy you want to see the storekeep.
Follow the storekeep and talk to Carla. Hopefully you now know enough insults to win the fight with her. You get another tshirt from her. Now it's time for the dogs. Stick those flowers you got into the meat, and hand those to the poodles. Head into the mansion and get through that sequence. Now return to the prisoner and give him the gopher repellent. He'll give you a carrot cake, complete with a file inside. Now you can head back into the mansion and use the file :)
You'll promptly get tossed into the ocean, along with the idol. Don't worry about the chains, simply walk over to the idol and pick it up. You're now ready to be a pirate and get a ship!
