Mini Origami
Normally a square of origami paper is 6" by 6" square. However, there are tiny mini-origami paper squares which are only 3" x 3". They make the cutest little origami creations!
Mini origami are wonderful on their own, as favors at a baby shower or wedding. They also are perfect in combination with larger, regular sized origami. You could have a pair of larger origami cranes, surrounded by a number of smaller origami shapes.
Smaller origami are much more difficult to fold - but the effort is well worth it!
Be sure to check out the special patterns of paper available for mini origami shapes. Note that I cannot just take a normal sized origami piece of paper and cut it down to size! Origami must be exactly square for the folding to work out properly. I must buy specially made mini origami paper, in the patterns they have available, to fold with. I have photos of those papers online for you to browse through.
